Hey Mr. was selected for the Dirty Films and Netflix Proof of Concept Accelerator, an initiative from Cate Blanchett and Coco Francini’s Dirty Films dedicated to supporting emerging filmmakers with bold, distinctive voices.

Through the accelerator, we are producing Hey Mr. as a proof of concept while developing the accompanying feature, Corporeal, alongside the Dirty Films team. Corporeal has been in development for the past three years and is currently under a first-look deal with Dirty Films.

Hey Mr. serves as both a standalone work and a creative foundation for the feature, allowing us to explore the film’s visual language, tone, and themes of girlhood, queer desire, fear, and shame.
