Julia Corcoran is a film and television producer residing in Los Angeles after studying a Masters in Producing at the American Film Institute with the Screen Australia-AAA-OnBass Scholarship.

Corcoran graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with honors in Communications (Media Arts and Productions) in 2015. She has since worked in-house at a Sydney-based production company, Jungle Entertainment, and freelanced in varying supportive producing capacities on titles including MR INBETWEEN (2018 - 2021), JUDY & PUNCH (2019), LATECOMERS (2023), TOP END WEDDING (2019) and DOM & ADRIAN 2020 (2020) learning from some of Australia’s leading producers.
In 2021 Julia was named One to Watch by the Screen Producers Australia and in 2025 she was named as one of Inside Film Magazines Rising Talent Producers.
Julia recently began producing her own projects under the name Ripple Pictures with a vision to create big, bold stories that are character driven and challenge traditional character archetypes in audience focused and entertaining ways.
Her initial projects under Ripple Pictures include Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s (ABC) four part docu-series ROSALINE’S UNTAMING, and short film’s FERAL and THE SHIRT OFF YOUR BACK. She is currently developing film and television projects in the US and Australia.
